Not your Average Cat Wand
Why the Snatch Wand is beneficial:
Has your cat ever walked away from playtime with a feather or teaser in their mouth and a whole wand trailing behind them? Your cat is securing their prey. (This is different than when they bring you a toy for playtime.)
Cats will take their prey away from where they captured it to protect their prize from other predators who may want it or to store it and save some for later. When we play with our cats, we usually either make it so they have a hard time catching their prey or take it away once they do, which is great to keep them hunting and playing, but cats need the satisfaction of a kill. So your cat gets to play WITH you and keep their reward.

Lucy’s favorite places to bring her prized prey are inside her tunnel and into the bathroom.
The same reason why using a laser isn’t so great for your cat, is why the Snatch Wand IS so great for your cat. They can really catch it.
The Snatch Wand is so versatile, it has more Goosie Games than any of our other featured toys you can turn any existing Goosie Game into a Catch ‘n Snatch version. Find ALL of the Goosie Games you can play with the Snatch Wand HERE!
What makes the Snatch Wand DIFFERENT:
-
Each attachment connects via a magnet to the wand’s string
-
Your cat can really catch their prey and be satisfied with their “kill.”
-
A telescoping pole for different play lengths and easy storage. (Don’t step on it though because it will bend and not straighten back out and you won’t be able to full collapse the pole anymore. Don’t ask how we know…)
-
Hooks to wrap the string and also secure it around the wand when it’s not in use so it doesn’t get loose, tangled, or knotted
-
A few years ago Cat Amazing added a STRONGER MAGNET! So kitty really has to try to get the feather. If you’ve watched THIS Jackson Galaxy video or tried the Snatch Wand prior to Fall 2024, it’s a new & improved experience.
-
If you don’t love feathers, don’t worry! Cat Amazing has a pack of attachments that aren’t feathers sold separately. They pride themselves on having no glue on pieces in their attachments, everything is stitched, making it more difficult for kitty to tear pieces apart.

-
No more wasting time DIYing velcro or taping attachments to wands for this effect.
Safety Tips:
-
Only play under supervision. Even once kitty has snatched their attachment, keep an eye on them to make sure nothing breaks or comes loose, they don’t ingest a feather, and they don’t swallow the magnet!
-
Always collapse, secure, and put away the wand, string, and attachments when they’re not in active use so your cat can not get at them unsupervised.
